Responsibilities:  Coordinating a Network of Therapeutic Communities in South and Central Asia. -providing residential care for disturbed, disorientated, and drug-dependant people;  supervising other therapeutic communities in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal.

 

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE ASSOCIATES:                     India: 1978-85

Position:  Coordinator of Aashiana.

Responsibilities: Coordinating an Indigenous Intentional Community located in New Delhi, India - founding a therapeutic community centre for distressed urban people; forming a community development agency for disadvantaged groups in the sprawling slums of the city;  training people in community work.
